I laughed out loud during this movie many times. Did I find the humor to get a little repetitive? Yes. But all in all, I enjoyed this movie about two guys on a gourmet food trip through the Lakes District of England. It's not earth shattering or provocative. But it is an enjoyable night at the movies.

After reading so many positive reviews about this movie, I thought *************** like a great way to spend a couple of hours escaping the summer heat. I was expecting a witty, funny film, and instead, found myself bored to the point of closing my eyes. While my eyes were closed, I started thinking about all of the things that I could have been doing instead of watching this awful

This movie was excellent. I recently saw the BBC 5-part series and watched it twice because it was absolutely hysterical. very funny movie, with a serious/melancholic ending. Steve Coogan is a very talented actor, and so is his protege' Rob Brydon; it was hard to tell if this was a script or if there was a lot of truth in the story. Many of the references may be lost on U.S. viewers - if you have never seen 'Alan Partridge', it is hard to get some of the jokes. Still, very entertaining; it is good to see they can

I don't get how reviewers liked this movie so much. I mean, it was slow. The \"humor\" of the two characters got old after 15 minutes. One of the leads was a cad. The two characters are neurotic. There were so few redeeming qualities to this movie that I left before it was over. Only I'm writing this review is to perhaps save someone else the agony of having to pay for something
