Perhaps if this film had not been a remake I would have had more respect for the film as a whole. However since it was a remake of one of the films I enjoyed in my youth, it fell short in so many way... s. The actors failed to bring the same edge to the film as Hepburn and Grant. The story line was stilted and lacked the intensity that was portrayed in the original. I have seen Charade at least 3 times but I could not, would not, waste my time watching this film again.
