You really connect with the characters and want the story to continue once the movie ends. It will make you laugh and cry.

Rchard Jenkins is wonderful and so believable in a very thoughtful role...an academy award performance...

This silly pathetic movie promotes ilegal immigration and portrays negatively US gov. This is a soft propaganda movie where the radical salivate. The professional critics are promoting ilegal immigration if they endorse a silly boring movie like this one. Don't waste your time and money.

Just awful. Save your money. You will have more fun sitting in your backyard watching the grass grow.

This is one of the best films of the year. It is extremely powerful, moving, and well thought out. The acting is great, and the screenplay is incredible, I loved the ending too as it was very believable, no sugar coating in this movie. At the end, I wondered...who really is the visitor in this movie?? Is it the audience as we are the visitor into these characters lives, is it Walter, or is it Tarek? I believe we are the visitor, and this is a movie I was glad to visit. I thank my film professor for making this an outside assignment, what a wonderful, beautiful movie! I recommend it to all.

I don't condone illegal immigrants in this country and I am not going to see a movie about ilegals.

This is a wonderful, heart wrenching film....not for people without imagination or sense of humility. Not for the prejudiced or narrow minded. It's real life, showing how badly we do treat many good people looking for what our ancestors came here for.

This is a very good movie. I caught the trailer a few months ago and I knew it was "I have to watch" this kind of movie. As a side note, when she says "real time, not arab time" was one of the funniest and truest statements I've heard

This movie was dark & dismal. It also was the first movie that we ever walked out on. My friend left for the mens room and then called me from the parking lot.
