No matter what people want to believe, Edward really did love her and throughout his life wanted to give her what he had attained so easily, he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth and Wallis had had to fight so hard for everything. He was NOT a Nazi but a socialist and did not agree with the terms of the Versailles Treaty.
