I'm a huge wrestling fan, but this movie disappointed me. I found it too slow moving and sometimes boring. Mickey Rourke was great. I thought he played the part perfectly. Wrestling isn't always fun and glamorous for these guys and I think that point was well-conveyed. But at best I would call it a decent movie.

In my opinion it was a great movie, very moving, bravo Mickey. Although I assumed it would be geared towards kids since it had to do with wrestling, and my son loves wrestling, take my word for it, it was not. Dont bring the kids.

I LOVED IT!! Mickey Rourke showed after years of not being out there u can still kick ass when u come back. I wish u all the best in whatever u decide to do. Seeing u in more movies is what I would love. U have the luck of the irish behind u go show them all what u r made of

This was a movie!!!! We went on a Sunday evening - and before my man and I took a 'hike' , there were three other couples before us. What a total waste of time, period.

If Mickey Rourke does not win Best Actor, it will be a crime. That said, if you don't know anything about the world of "professional" wrestling, this movie might not be your cup of tea.

Mickey Rourke plays a powerful, excellent performance in this film. That can be played with such perfection by no one but himself. Perfection at its best a man's man that is second to none . He shows how as we get older how hard it is to perform, work and survive in this cold world we live in. WAY TO GO BROTHER a winner no doubt.

I thought this movie was top notch. It was very realistic in a portrayal of what happens to a professional wrestler when he can't be a wrestler anymore. I didn't think anyone could beat out Sean Penn's performance in "Milk", but Mickey Rourke does just that. His emotions are very heartfelt and real. Marisa Tomei was amazing! Go see this movie. It's excellent!!
