Mickey Rourke was outstanding! I'm hoping he walks away with an Oscar for his performance. I'm very proud of this man who obviously put his heart and soul into a real good film. I also commend both Marisa Tomei and the Director as well. This is an excellent film and again I'm very proud of Mickey.

Mickey Rourke performance was so well done, he should receive an Oscar. Don't forget Marisa Tomei as supporting actress as well in "The Wrestler". In knowing some professional wrestlers that did not make it big like the RAM portrayed, back in the '80s and actually worked for the WWF and their own stories, this movie could of been a wrestler's bio.

I love the return of any actor who has the skills that Mickey Rourke possess. I really hope he wins the Oscar for his performance. He deserves the Ocsar his performance in "The Wrester"; but, also for so many other movies in which he starred that show the depth of his acting abilities.

THIS MOVIE IS NOTHING SPECIAL...SAME THEME AS MANY OTHER MOVIES...O'ROURKE ACTS WELL...IT CERTAINLY ISN'T OSCAR MATERIAL THO...THEY PASSED OVER "GRAN TORINO" FOR OSCAR NODS AND THIS ONE MADE IT...SHOULD SPEAK VOLUMES FOR THE OSCAR ACADEMY AND THE WORKINGS OF HOLLYWOOD...VERY UNIMPRESSIVE...SAVE YOUR $$$$...WAIT FOR IT TO BE SHOWN ON TV

Although I have not seen it yet, I know alot about this movie. They filmed it right here in this trailer park I live in. The trailer they used was an old ratty one. Just to let people know the rest of this park is not like that, Good job Mickey, And ofcourse to Adorable Mirissa Tome, Who is my favoirite.

Authentic performances. So believeable it almost seemed like a documentary.
