i saw to sir with love for the first time about 2 or 3 years ago.i thought it was a movie ahead of its time,and a classic for all times.as a avid collector of cinematic gems,i look forward to buying it as soon as it crosses my path.

I enjoy this movie! Poitier was cool in "Little Nikita", with late actor River Phoenix; I also love him in A Patch Of Blue,with late actress Shelley Winters. Here, we see a London school hires this teacher to teach its inner-city class. Poitier is wonderful, in that he is teaching these people about respect,dignity and manners.
