This is a very realistic and well done movie. It is a thriller and actioned packed. It should have received more promotion than what it did and Cheadle should get an oscar for his performance. This is a movie that all Americans should watch to remind us of what we have to be thankful for and the sacrifices that are made to protect our way of life. 5 stars!

What a terrific film! So well-acted and very currently topical. Like the previous reviewer said, I agree that everyone should go see this, especially because of the current world we now live in. Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce were superb and the story very relevant...scary relevant even. This is probably the best film I've seen all summer next to "The Dark Knight" and I highly recommend it!

Don Cheadle is one of the most versatile actors I've seen in recent years. I loved the plot and storyline, which put a little seen perspective on the diversity of the Islamic religion and doesn't insult the viewers intelligence. The movie pointed out that not every Muslim is an extreme fanatic, set to destroy and kill innocent people. Well done Mr. Cheadle. Your production and acting ability will take you far. This is a definite must see movie. I can't wait for the DVD release.

I really loved this movie. It got me thinking. Actually made me a little nervous. But I thought it was well written, directed and superbly acted. I recommend everyone to go see it and it's definitely an adult movie which I love. I'm so tired of the target audience being a 12 year old boy ;) Love you Mr. Cheadle!

Okay, if you are selling this film as a BOURNE film, you are crazy... This was a sleeper... literally.... I fell asleep. The plot was slow, the director's pace was too slow for anyone to really feel the importance. Cheadle was good, as always Pearce was good, and good to see Daniels in something! But I could recut this film into something much faster paced. It dragged on and on! Needed to be no more then 90 minutes. If you are wanting to get out of the heat, go see it. I personally feel the director owes me money for false advertising! This is no better then a Netflix rental. Oh well, too each his own!

I'm not sure why this movie recieved so much criticism and such low grades. Granted, it is not a popcorn flick for the masses, nor was it intended to be. This is an extremely smart film that takes a different perspective than others of its kind and it keeps you guessing throughout the duration about what will happen and even what side Don Cheadle is actually on. In fact, Cheadle, as always, gave a great performance and deserves praise for it.

K ...Here's the deal...Saw "Babylon A.D.", "Disaster Movie", "Death Race" over this holiday weekend....Basically was about to give up seein' anything else the next couple of days because all three of those sucked so bad!...Than I took a shot Friday night and saw "Traitor". Mosty cause Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce who are cool in alot of stuff I've seen. This movie was really good. Best of all 4 movies (Don't waste your money on those other three they are pretty crappy to be honest)...This one was like the other reviewers said? It's more a spy thriller set all over the world and you gotta figure out if Don Cheadle is the Traitor or not. And Pearce is the cop on his tail. Kept my interest I liked the story and thought the whole cast did a great job. The one guy who plays a Muslim terrorist I've seen in "The Kite Runner" and he's really good in this movie too. Check it out this one is probably my pick this weekend.

I went to this movie because I needed something to do on the holiday and this was the only non-action, non-comedy I could find nearby. What a surprise. The plot was complex and thought-provoking, and Cheadle set just the right tone as an on-the-edge operative guiding us into a forbidden world that we usually only cringe over in headlines. It's a film that challenges us to stare into the unthinkable. I won't forget this one any time soon.
