Yes, the movie should be rated PG-13, and no, if your parents don't want you to see it, you should not ruin their trust in you by seeing it behind their backs. They will find out, and you will not like the results.

If this is a movie, then I will never set foot in a theater again. This was an insult to anyone's intelligence, I hope. I had to walk out with my child and I demanded a refund! Help this world if this is called entertainment!

It's PG-13, there is gunna be some profanity, so there is no big deal if it has it a few times. I thought that the movie was awesome and cant wait for Transformers 3 in 2012.

Yes, I checked the rating and understand it was a pg13 movie. Even still I was shocked with the extreme profanity in this movie. I believe it is the parent's ultimate responsibility to what their child is exposed to, but it can be difficult making an informed decision when the first movie with the same rating, made by the same director, had very little profanity in it. The second was over the top. It really should have been an R rated. It also doesn't help when HASBRO, who clearly endorsed the movie, with their names in big bold letters in the movie targets the age group of 3-8 year olds for their merchandise, promoting the movie on all the cartoon channels. I guess it's too much to ask these companies to take a little social responsibility for the well being of their customers. It's not their job. As long as they are making millions off of them, they could care less about anything else. It's not parents trying to pass the buck, just asking for a little consideration and help.
