While seeing the movie the third time, it got better. Watching it to see if anything changes, but it doesn't. The movie was outstanding. The special effects gave the audience more energy, because the packed action ultimate fighting between Megatron and Optimus-Prime, gave downtown Missioncity (LA) a blownout scence between the Decepticons. The intensity was mindblowing. This movie should have not been rated so low. A movie like this will actually keep your eyes open, instead of other movies that will keep you asleep. Hollywood is simply making movies from comic books, series, and now cartoons from early childhood, just to make it to the big screen. Making more than 300 million dollars this summer, why not rate this movie better? By making that much for the summer, it totally deserves itself by titling it the master piece of blockbuster this summer. Hats off to TRANSFORMERS, Miraculous Good, indeed!

This was a great blockbuster movie that the newspaper and magazine reviewers did not understand. Even though they viewed it as storyless and meaningless, they just didnt understand the whole transformers meaning. They give it bad reviews saying its loud and noisy. But what can you expect from a 3 story tall robot thats walkin and running about? It certainly isnt going to make music when it steps nor is the gun blasting goin to make a beautiful symphony. Story is about robots crash landed on Earth to protect the human race. As the evil Decepticons want to destory them. Storyline was simple just as in the cartoon. This movie was intended for transformer lovers and the people that understood what the transformers was about and not about some hasbeen writer making dumb reviews and remarks for something they totally not understand that wasnt even through there timeline. This is just my opinion and of course everyone else has theirs.

What was Micheal Bay thinking when he had the secretary of state firing a gun??!!! Great special effects but horrible story lines. Could not feel for the characters at all. 90% of the movie was focused on the one kid and not the transformers at all. So again WTF?

The premise was great and visuals outstanding but except for some great action scenes the movie gets bogged down in trying to be too cute for it's own good. Not in the same galaxy as the latest "Die Hard" movie. While Bruce Willis gives DH some chuckles, you still appreciate the seriousness. Transfomers could have been a classic with a little more work....too bad..it was painful to watch at times.

I think purespinggolferhx has a point. i mean,pirates DOES have guns,but you dont see ME dissing it,did you?! i guess its Really something to think about.....

anyone who didnt like this movie needs to get over themselves.... i go to a movie to be entertained. Mission triple accomplished.

This movie was great for what it was: ACTION and TRANSFORMERS. CGI was impressive and the fight scenes were great to watch. If you loved it as a kid or just want to see giant robots bashing each other its a must see.

While I went into this movie knowing the basis, this move was awesome! It kept my interest from beginning to end and was action packed . Of course there was not a deep story line but who would really be expecting to see that when entering a theater to see "Transformers". It is what it is, slightly corny but over all a terrific movie. It was great, very entertaining and super fun!
