As I am neither a fan of either Michael bay nor the Transformers universe, I had low expectations for this movie; I also work in the industry and am thus a bit jaded overall. How wrong I was. Transformers was a visually amazing, funny and at times touching tale in purest pop-corm movie sense. As the credits rolled I truly felt as if I had witnessed the battle between these amazing, impossible machines in person, so real and well executed were the special effects, flawlessly compositing real time footage with scale models and seamless CGI. Like Jurassic Park, this movie will not be the same on the small screen, so see it in theaters while you can.

amazing cgi enough to see it twice, but bay and his aloof band of writers only entertained the minds of 12 year olds and robbed his actors of an intelligent script, not to mention sent the hyperintelligent, outstanding leader, efficient autobots of yesteryear back to the seventh grade. consumer consume consume, buy a gmc now, nokia,

Hi,I'm w/ the Mayors Office of Employment Development in Maryland and was so excited to take my 5 yr. old son to see the movie that I grew up on. I called myself doing my research only to be so shocked at the foul language used throughout the movie. It bothers my heart that movie makers would create such a disaster, however, I do realize that it's all about the money. The most stunning part is that it is no secret that kids of all ages continue to make the Transformers part of their lives and knowing this, movie makers would add the filthy words adult scenes. I would be surprised if I was not w/ the Mayors office. Once more, it won't stop until we begin to stop paying.

Anyone who didn't like this movie is, simply put, lame. It may not have the deepest plot, but then again - what action movie really does??? lol. Its a cute story

Asan adult who actually STILL OWNS the Transformer toys he had when he was a kid, I was literally blown away by this movie! I can't remember having as much fun as I have had watching a movie since STAR WARS when I was 10. If anyone has ever had ANYTHING to do with Transformers, this movie is dead on to what they would possibly be like in real life! While I wouldn't recommend this movie to kids age 5 and under, I have viewed the movie several times, and have noticed parents who have brought their children to see it as well. I once sat next to a family who had a 3 year old girl, and her comments were "I don't like him"(Megatron", and her getting excited by seeing Bumblebee. I'd say it's a way to experience a second childhood of course! The special effects have set a new bar, and not only am I eagerly awaiting the DVD release, but I cannot WAIT until the next movie (yes, there will be a second one!).Thank you DREAMWORKS!!!

I was really hyped about this movie. I knew it would be big, loud, and flashy, but i never realized what a crazy demolishonist action director Michael Bay is. The action kicks off right in the start of the movie, and it never rests. The plot is farily simple, but solid enough to ignore any plotholes (and there are a few)What i really liked about this movie was the music, and it blended perfectly with intense action scenes (all 20,000 of them) There is also alot of good humor, a little corny, but still funny. This movie only had one purpiose: Entertain. Not to immerse you into a web of character development,or teach you about the quality of life, but simply to entertain. Shia Labeuof does a great job as Sam, and there is really nothing wrong with this movie.

Obviously some of these critics have the personallity of a card board box. This movie is the best movie ever! if you ever were a fan of the Transformers you gotta see this movie. the special effects rock! the fluid motion of the way they transform is excellent and we werent inundated with some crappy love story involved in this movie. it was all action. loved it!
