The movie was funny when i saw it on dvd... I liked it because it had Stiller, Black, and Downey J.r. whom I admire as a dramatic/action/comedic actor. Downey J.r. delivered every scene with comedy perfection. I say Downey J.r. was my fave in the film. He really was funny and smart, and genius to play such character.

This movie was ******* hilarious...lol "Mother Nature Just Pissed Her Pantsuit." If you don't enjoy Tropic Thunder I pray for you. It was one of the funniest movies of the summer.

Big disappointment. Sucked big time. No real violence just stupid sequences and ashole actords. Simple Jack was stuck in completely out of place. Jack Black sucks as an actor.

STOP WITH THE CRAP! YOU KNOW YOU LOVED IT! i thought this movie was great. oviously its rated R so dont go in thinking your going to see a PG13 movie ladies and gents. Ben Stiller your amazing and i have seen it twice and probably will see it again before it leaves theatres. PEOPLE THAT THINK DODGEBALL IS FUNNIER. then please do us all a favor and go to a PG13 movie instead of bringing a knife to a gun fight. if your not ready for a rated R movie then dont go and expect to see mama freaking mia. thanks a bunch.

The critics have lost their credibility by rating this movie 4 stars. I don;t object to profanity and vulgarity if it has some entertainment value. In this movie it was used to shock the viewer and it did not work. The movie wasn't funny and I was glad when it mercifully ended. Too bad it was such a waste of talent. I used to love Ben Stiller but he is making junk movies now and I won't waste my money of any more of them. MRB.

The people here who want to see movies where soldiers are saying, "Shucks, Darn, and Swell!" , and NEVER mention sex should limit themselves to Van Johnson and Richard Widmark WW2 movies of the 1950s and 60s.

Everyone who is offended by this movie,please return to your world of "I don't get it". Ofcourse u think its over the top or u r dissappointed. Nobody cares. This was movie of the year. he acting and right arond the corner racial sterotyping had me bent over in pain. I hope this is what Ben Stller fans have to look foward to. Please don't listen to the dopes of yesterdays past tell you this mivie is out of bounds.Infact its a homerun. I'd pay to see it again.

This was the worst movie I have seen all year. Don't waste your money. I like all these actors and really wanted to laugh. The only funny scenes are shown in the previews so just watch the previews and go see Step Brothers instead.

Don't bring young childredn to this movie. The language is terrible. There were a few funny scenes but on the whole it's lousy. BUT, not as lousy as Hancock was.
