What a crappy movie. Not funny in the least, i can not FATHOM how Robert D Jr is nominated for best supporting actor in the oscars. its a SAD day for film when this wins best comedy at the Golden Globes. It was so unfunny that my friend and family felt awkwardness while watching it...we were like "well we are supposssed to laugh...."

this movie was laugh out loud funny! I laughed through the whole thing unlike some of the other poeple on here. my favorite part was probably the "jelly beans" or when Jack Black was tied to the tree and had just found out that the guy is gay. that was a hilarious and I would definately buy it.

Not sure what the significence with Robert Downey jr. had as being made as a black man, it was one of the stupid parts of the movie ,added nothing to it. Ben stiller needs to keep to acting and not directing, movie is ok for a 13 yr. old. worse movie ever seen.

this had to be the stupidest movie i have ever seen!!! it was a complete waste of 2 hours and it wasn't even funny!!!

This movie was a complete waste of my time. I generally love ridiculous comedies like 'Zoolander', 'Talledega Nights', and 'Kingpin', but this movie was terrible. I only laughed once during a scene near the end when an obviously fake baby gets thrown over a bridge. I think the only reason that made me laugh was because it reminded me of when Jack Black's unnamed character kicks Ron Burgundy's dog over a bridge in vastly superior 'Anchorman'. Don't waste your time with Tropic Thunder, there are way better "stupid" comedies out there. No Stars for you.

This movie was insanely great! I almost died of laughter. The funniest movie EVER! AWESOME!!!!

This movie was pretty horendous. Had it not been for the many stars with a bit more than a cameo role, it would be a total dive bomb. It is funny, but very painful to get through with overall regard to an entertaining movie.
