Terrible movie! Waste of time and money! I wouldnt watch it again for FREE!

An awful film, a 'garbarge barrage'. It may give you a few laughs, but you will come out of it with crap all over you and in you. Robert Downey jr. goes from Grade 'A' in Iron Man to an 'F' in this brainless disaster. Ben Stiller is in his element. :) I give this one - NO STARS!

Any jokes that actually started out funny. . . ended up awful because they were taken too far and turned stupid. The only people in the theatre really laughing were teenage boys.

I thought that this movie was quite funny. I would give it a 3 and a quarter star if there ever was a rating. Robert Downey I belive has definetely ressurected his carrer. Ok may not to the likes of Travolta, but its a good start, in my opinion he made the movie worth watching....AND I AM BLACK! I totally did not take offense to his black faced character at all. Other than that Ben Stillers movies still almost always miss "SOMETHING" but its still worth a dvd's purchace. The fact that he had many cameo's in the movie, Tom Cruise, John Voight, Toby Mcguire and others not mentioned, did not hurt the movie. My favorite scenes were Downey's "im the dude pretendin' to be the dude" line and black's "My A$$" line had me on the floor. So when you see the 4 stars keep in mind i meant 3 1/4, more than 3 less than 4. Alrighty then.08/18/2008, 12:15 pm

Not sure what this movie was all about... funny, in a couple of scenes, and that is mostly a white man pretending to be a black man ... which of course wears out fast. Lots of gore, and that is supposed to be funny, we did not think so, just gross. I guess someone, from within the Hollywood film making industry was trying to send a message to some of his/her own kind, in a form of a bad movie... We (the four of us) found it boring, meaningless and just a waste of our time and money. The hype and promo was unbelievable though... The movie: A First Class Let Down. Not worth seeing.

I just love people telling me what a movie meant and how I missed the symbolism and satire. Reminds me of a college play I attended where a girl sat in a bathtub throwing cornflakes over her shoulder and the long haired intellecuals chided me for not recognizing the deep signifance and meaning...well, she was a woman sitting in a bathtub throwing cornflakes...it was stupid. This movie is the same...you can explain it all you want to but I go to be entertained...and this movie fell flat. It was just stupid...the girl in the bathtub was more entertaining.

If you are on crack, failed the fifth grade, or still do not know where babies come from, you will find the movie funny. My boyfriend summed it up: You can put icing on a turd--might look good--but it is still a turd. This movie is the biggest turd Hollywood ever laid.

After reading many of the reviews I noticed many negative comments on the depiction of the social underclass. However, what people fail to understand is this is the social trend for modern day cinema. Although this movie is very vulger, it is clearly stated with the rating R. So for people to state that their is too much negative language, you truly need to realize the rating system with modern comedies. This movie (by far) was the best comedy of the year. I thourghly enjoyed the acting and Robert Downy Jr. keeps amazing me with his stylistic choices. If you go see a comedy this year, please disregard any negative comments and listen to this review; this movie is everything comedy strives to be!

If you want to see violence without reason, poking fun at our disabled population, and sensless humor, then go see this movie. If you want to be entertained stay home and save ur money. We walked out. This is pure junk with an all star cast. Shame on the actors.
