there is something about this film. is it hokey? maybe a little, but i was totally absorbed in the story, in the characters, in the pain of these people, this is something special..a GREAT friday night movie..i wish i could find more movies like this. And i like that we can feel the resentment coming off of amy adams, how frustrated she is..5 stars all the way! call it whatever you like, i have

ENJOYED IT, LIKE BASEBALL. THE STORY WAS GREAT. ENJOYED SEEING WHERE MOST OF IT WAS FILMED.

The most boring and predictable movie I've ever seen. I usually LOVE all Clint's movies, but this one was a bummer.

Lacking narrative momentum, saddled with thin characterizations and uninspired plotting, Trouble With The Curve should've stayed on the bench. Full Review

Regrettably, it is not a home run or a perfect game, but it isn't a wild throw, an errant bunt or a dropped fly ball either. Trouble With the Curve is either an off-speed pitch that just catches the edge of the strike zone or a bloop single lofted into right field. The runner is safe. The movie is too. Full Review

Trouble With the Curve presents viewers with a frustrating change-up: What promised to be a modest, refreshingly unforced little comedy turns out to be low energy to a fault. Full Review

The good news is that this daddy/daughter reconciliation story connects with the ball. The not-so-good: It's a blooper. Full Review

Its title notwithstanding, there's nothing that remotely approaches a narrative curve ball in this tired saga of an aging baseball scout. Full Review
