Twilight (2008) User Reviews

I read Twilight many, many years ago, when the book had first come out and it wasn't insanely popular. I enjoyed it very much, and soon became a "Twilighter." Not so anymore. I am disappointed in what it has become, and I am even more disappointed with the movie. Why would the director swap the very important blood-typing scene for a random field trip? (She said she wanted a more "organic" feel - it was a poor excuse, if you ask me.) Kristen Stewart's acting left a lot to be desired - she looked high the whole movie. I know that there are fans here who only like the movie because it is Twilight. I'm sorry, but the movie was awful and boring. It droned on forever. Victoria, Laurent, and James were the best part, in my opinion. Also, Edward did not sparkle - he just looked sweaty. Robert Pattinson, though, did a wonderful job. He did his research on the character and had a nice execution. Let's just hope that New Moon is better. There is a new director this time, so let's see if he can make the movies into something someone will actually stay awake through. I can honestly say that I've moved on from Twilight, and the catalyst was this movie. It showed me that there could, in fact, be a big fuss over nothing. I am extremely disappointed, but I'll give it one star for the actors who actually got me through the movie.

I suppose if you didnt read the book, the movie would have been good. But because i did read it, it came as a disapointment to me. I wish they had left in the original storyline instead of leaving out crucial details and adding useless crap. I think the first book was much more of a love story than a vampire story. I'm sure they had intended on making it more exciting to appeal to a larger audience, but I missed the connection between edward and bella and I despised the fact that Bella was practically monotone throughout the movie.

IM A HUGE FAN OF THE TWILIGHT SERIES!!!! I LOVE ALL THE BOOKS AND ENJOYED THE MOVIE TWILIGHT THOUGHT I THOUGHT THEY COULDVE DONE THE MOVIE BETTER BUT IT WAS STILL GOOD JUST. I CANT WAIT UNTIL NEW MOON COMES OUT!!! :) I LOVE U JACOB BLACK <333333333

ive read twilight 17 times new moon 6 times eclipse 15 time and breaking dawn 16 times!!! I LOVE TWILIGHT SO MUCH

i love twilight i have read the book 5 times.... but really i thought the movie was terrible!!!! very poorly done almost like a B flick this movie is where you are supposed to get to know everyone and really make your connections with the characters. bella and edward fall in love way to fast in the movie whithout having it explained. there is just way to much of them laying around in the meadow with music playing and nothing else...really the book was amazing so i was expecting so much more from the movie... i think they went off on a tangent with james and victoria i really just didnt care for it at all... i read they have a new director for book two so lets cross our fingers.
