This is Tyler Perry's best! I really didn't want to see it because I had grown tired of his movies that seemed to have the same plot. This was a delightful surprise. Excellent acting from really great cast. Don't get the wrong impression: there is indeed one slap, and it does draw a strong response from the audience. The movie is not about abuse.The relationship between the Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard characters is so touching. Don't miss it.

This movie met and exceeded my expectations. This was a fabulous way cast. They complemented each other. Perry has another winner. Can't wait for the DVD. Loved the storyline.

I thought this was definitely the BEST SCREENPLAY he's written. He was so new to doing movie's that it had to be hard to try and get away from his plays. But overall this is abosolutely his BEST MOVIE! This put his Daddy's Little Girl's to shame. I love the chemistry Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates had on screen. It makes you wish you had the same frienship.Sanaa Lathan...WOW! She did excellent! You really grow to dislike her character with each scene.

I thought this was Tyler Perry's best movie yet! The whole theather was laughing and we all clapped at the end...It had a great overall meaning and Woodward and Bates were amazing together....Lathan, did an excellent job as wellI reccomend going to see it for yourself!

A great film. One of Tyler's very best. There are lessons to be learned, but he presents it in a delicious, dark manner that entertains.

I think TP is a great writer/producer/actor. I'm a lover of TP's work and I will support whatever he does, I have a question fro Impartiality, Do you critize all of the movies or Just TP's movies, b/c it seems that Stephen Speilbergs movies have the same theme as well but he still have supporters. not knocking any one but why try and criticize one producer and not the others. Then again you're one person. Apparently other movie goers enjoy his work. Keep up the good work TP.

This movie was AWESOME. Tyler perry - again did an amazing job of bringing his work to life on the big screen. Every actor was committed and passionate about their work and it showed. It's amazing to see that Tyler Perry is a writer that allows his work to focus on so many - making others the stars of his creations. My hats off to you and I cannot wait to see yet another film from you. You are truly amazing and your work is truly stunning. Keep doing it for not only BLACK WRITERS, but simply......Writers in general.

Yes, I couldn't wait to see this movie--I always get excited when i find out Tyler Perry has another film out. I see that his actor/actress is become more wide spreed. Iam a big fan of the 2 leading ladies-Kathy and Alfre. This is truly a "MUST SEE". There isn't much to complain about rising ticket prices when you see a great film like this.
