I, too, have mixed feelings about whether Up was a movie for small children; but there are a lot of very frightening things in most children's movies, and I think that a lot of the sad parts may have gone over children's heads (pun intended). We adults do tend to take things a little more deeply. Several parts of the movie did make me sniffle, but then I'm a little more sensitive than most. But there were also some laughs, not of the uproarious variety. The characters were adorable, evil dogs who could fly planes but would immediately halt everything at the sound of the word "squirrel" or the sight of a tennis ball. And they all ended up fine at the end.

This was NOT a small children's movie. It was more of an adult movie, but there were only a few laughs. I was expecting a fun movie. I was depressed when I left . My husband fell asleep 3 times. This best part of this movie were the 3D effects.

Very sentimental. The 3D and special effects are so real that my palms were sweating in the high altitude shots.

This was one of the most depressing movies I have ever seen!!! Miscarriage, spouses death, evil dogs, near death experiences for a child, Being shot at by your childhood super hero...yEAH REAL FUNNY...NOT!!!!!!!!

really good pixar never does a bad movie hilarious and great for little kids. i loved it and i m 13. really great movie. touching and sad but beautiful and not juvenile in any way. really great go see it

I thought this movie was such a riot I definitely reccomend seeing with little kids or with a family the beginning was very sad but the rest of it was just hysterical. I woud GIVE THIS MOVIE 5 STARS!!!!!! hehe :) p.s. Toy story 3 also looks like a good movie when it comes out next november of 2010. so excited!!!!!!!!

I am 50something and went with a friend to see this movie. We were also lucky enough to see it in 3-D. This is a movie that all ages can enjoy. The heart warming story has adventure, humor, and so much more. Pixar gets better with each movie they create. I cannot wait for Toy Story 3 to come out.
