okay so this movie rocked my soxs. It was soooo good it had me and all my friends on the edge of our seats and always kept us guess. I loved the fact it was from different points because then we could learn more and more about who was doing this. So it was a little graphic big deal! It's about what is going on in our world and what could happen. If it was on the news right now in real life u people wouldn't be saying anything about how it was bad or graphic. This movie mad eme feel like i was there . And if it were on the news u guys would want to see it from different points of view to so u can learn more about the situation. I mean y would u see it if u didn't want the same scenes to be played over and over again from different points of view. THAT"S WHAT VANTAGE POINT MEANS!!!! Oh well i recommed it

I saw this because I saw my favorite actor from Lost in it. Didn't know anything about the film or the plot. Good thing. Terrible movie that reminds me of the film Groundhog Day. Same scene played over and over and over again. Doesn't matter that it was supposed to be from different "Vantage Points". It still didn't work. Save your money and go to dinner instead.

Everytime the clock popped up in the corner of the screen the entire audience groaned. This was a great cast, I was looking forward to the movie, but I was sooooo disappointed. The blood and guts was unnecessary, the plot twists that went nowhere were dull and whole let down of not using Dennis Quaid's great acting ability to the fullest was totally a disgrace.

I've been looking forward to this movie since they began showing trailers back in the fall. Although the car chase was great and it moved well - there was no story here. The concept is great but it would have been nice to have some plot to follow. I think the build-up to this movie is what ruined it --- no, it just didn't deliver. Wait and get the dvd. I give it a C-

Our Film Rating Board says its ok for a 13 year old to see extreme graphic violence, cold blooded killings, close-ups of bodies ripped apart by explosion, over and over and over. However, show a woman's breast,

A lot of people are quick to judge this movie as a flimsy failure just because of its repeated use of rewinding and presenting different viewpoints of the action. OK, just because its been done before, doesn't mean its not entertaining. I found the movie very enjoyable and entertaining, even though the end does leave does untied ends and unanswered questions. So maybe it wasn't the best plot outline when all the vantage points have been pieced together; but it was a good thriller and it definitely raised some interesting social and political questions, whether intentional or not. The writer seems to cast America as the good guy, as the US president is saved in the end, while simultaneously critiquing the shady ways the American government often operates (the president's advisor suggesting some crazy attack for no good reason, doubles?).

The movie really does play the same scene over and over again with really cheesy music during a really cheesy rollback effect. Completely boring, everyone in the theater was talking.

I absolutely can't believe how some people and critics did not like this movie. True, it won't win any academy awards, but then again the English Patient, one of the worst movies I've ever seen, won best picture several years ago. What I really loved about the movie, though, is that I felt like I was there...I felt like I was in the crowd during the mayor's speech, and even during the car chase. I can see how some people would get bored seeing the president get shot from different vantage points, but you learn a little bit more each time. Not only was I on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film, the film had some excellent social commentary...and if you actually closely pay attention to the film, you'll see it. The movie was definitely better than I expected!
