From the opening scene until the credits ran I was hooked, and the film never let go. Interesting characters, good dialogue, charm, beautiful locations, and of course, all of it comes together to make a statement -- it is Woody Allen after all.

I loved the movie and I usually do not enjoy Woody Allen flicks. The movie had me from the start. The scenes of Barcelona are wonderful and the story was very engaging and funny. Many large laughs from the audience. Javier Bardem is a terriffic actor, but Penelope Cruz gave her best performance ever. I think she earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Don't buy the "Celebration of love" crap or the"sick society" crap. This was a funny sensitive and artistic movie about some society outliers. The acting was supurb.

A woody Allen move is never a disappointment, and this was a wonderful example. In addition to being thouroughly engaging, it's such a truism. Nobody is happy! No matter what!I give it 5 starrs

honestly save your money... I love Scarlett & Penelope but not in this...defintely wait for it to come out as a rental or catch it at the dollar theater if you have one!

This was possibly the most dragged out, slooow, boring film I've seen in ages. What a waste of time and money...but "oh so Woody"...come on reviewers...get off your high horse and actually review the film - not the love affair you have with the writer and director. Poor Penelope - she's wonderful - but no one could save this film

This was the most boring movie ever. I though it was empty and would never end.
