The characters really made the whole movie believable. Its sorry, that it can really be true to life, thats why some people may not like it. Life, just ain't perfect, and there is no sugar coating it. We just can't get it right and I give Shelly all the credit for tying to make a happy ending.

This movie is wonderful!!! I really enjoyed it. I think a lot of women can identify with the characters in this movie. I saw it on cable and I'll be buying it to add to my collection this weekend. Hats off to mis Russell!! Your performance is wonderful girl!!!

Romantic? Charming? This is one of the blackest, most shallow, and depressing movies of all time. Nothing uplifting. Not a character worth empathizing with; they are all villians. A bad, implausable story told badly. Humorless. An episode of "Cheaters" filmed in pastel would be more entertaining. The requisite "coma" of soap operas and chick flicks. And not even a good pie recipe.

I enjoyed this entire film and I have recommended it to all of my friends. Why did I like it so much? I liked the different names they came up with for the pies that fit Jenna?s life. I liked the struggle that Jenna had with being impregnated by a husband that she grew out of love with. I also liked the performances by a great cast and I feel that Keri Russell should be nominated for a best actress award.This may be a ?Chick Flick,? but I am a sixty year old man and I found it to be well written, well acted, and very well filmed. I am sorry that the world of film making lost such a talented women as the writer and director of this motion picture, Adrienne Shelly. I felt that this was one of the best films that I saw this year. Here is a tip for you, see this film.

i went to casa bella restaurant in dania beach , floridawell the food sucked, the service horrbile and or bill for 2 was 123 doaalrs with a crappy tip for 2 what a rip off do not go there becausse of their charmind old 2 storty home with atmoshere U WILL BE RPIPPED OFF

This should have been a TV sitcom. It was not plausible. An attractive girl like this would not be stuck with the loser husband. The OBGyn doctor would not be having sex with his very pregnant patient and wanting to run away with her. It was just stupid. A big waste of time.

I love all theese songs kenny Chesney is the greatest artist known to man.(Maybe some known to Monkey.) And this CD is amazing can't wait for the next! And I hope to be as big as him someday!

V8Z28DRIVER is correct. I was dragged into this by my wife. Now, the theater seemed rather dead in general, so this movie only drawing 20 people (4 guys) wasn't necessarily due to this movie being bad. I've watched worse chick flicks and if it was that bad, I would have probably seen another movie. Maybe I was secretly hoping to see if my wife could somehow learn how to cook better pies by watching this movie. Waste of time. This plot, mild humor, unbelievable characters, and wondering if Andy Griffith would die in the middle of making this movie sums it up for me. I'd definately say $9 is a waste of money. Catch it at Blockbuster so that you can sleep through it.
