  • Motivated by an earnest need to inspire, Schmidt's debut suffers from stiffness but improves as it goes, the tension of its plot overcoming many dramatic failings. show more

  • Walking With the Enemy is a powerful piece of filmmaking that examines history and heroism with big-screen artistry, imagination and thrills. show more

  • Walking with the Enemy may not be another “Schindler’s List” (Ben Kingsley has a small but important role as Hungary’s deposed regent) but it’s handsomely photographed (A-list vet Dean Cundey) in Romania and a compelling addition to the Shoah canon. show more

Excellent movie and true to history. The film was based on a true story and it is well portrayed. A little bit of too much violence but that is the way it was during the war. Very good and engaging movie, well worth to see and has a good ending.

Mirian Bale of th New York Daily News gave this movie one star saying, &********* a story of a Jew trying to escape Hungry in a Nazi disguise. I would suggest that if Ms. Bale wants to be a movie critic, she should go see the movie before reviewing it.
