Cute kids movie.

It is with caution that I recommend this movie. It should be made clear that it isn't what most people define as a child's animated film. Rather it reminds one of the old movie, "Fahrenheit 451" in that it presents a disturbing, futuristic portrayal of the results of what it claims is a dysfunctional, hedonistic American sociaety where individual thinking is discouraged. The robots soften the edge of the harsh and negative message it wishes to send. Is it accurate? Probably not any more accurate than "Fahrenheit 451" was in predicting that all books would be outlawed and that our society would be consumed by it's own consumption. The themes are more for adults than for children.

It wasn't so good but it wasn't wicked bad. It wasn't that funny. It was a little slow at the beginning, but later it turned out to be fast moving. The beginning was kind of lame but it turned out to be pretty good. I've seen better. I woudn't say it is awesome.

I loved it. Not too much talking, but very imaginative and sweet. I loved it and I am almost 30!

um, excuse me, drakeypoo13, but who exactly is the special one? I believe you need to check your spelling there before you put down someone else about their education, and especially when you're talking about their opinion. Respect other's opinions (that goes for everyone).

To those of you who felt your precious 98 minutes could have been better spent watching much-loved television show or socalizing with friends over take-out, I am sorry. I'm sorry your children have to be entertained by mind-numbing shows like The Misadventures of Flapjack and Chowder to make you happy. I'm sorry our population can't appreciate a movie without slapstick dialouge and cheap laughs. I'm sorry that it has come to the point that a once-adored movie corporation is being berated for its last attempt to make you listen. When we live in the garbage they portray, when we are completely computerized and carefree, I think you'll be sorry too.

Frankly, I'm disgusted by people who are judging this movie on the basis of whether or not it's "cute", whether or not they agree with "the message", or whether or not it's "funny." From a technical standpoint, this film is a MASTERPIECE. Pixar have completely outdone themselves, and every single frame in this film is a work of art. If you and your dumbass family want to go out and watch "Kung-Fu Panda" so you and your kids can giggle at the funny noises he makes and stupid innuendo, be my guest. If you actually respect your children and would like to take them to see a truly great example of children's and animated filmmaking, go see Wall-E

I just have to respond to MystrMk's comment about saying, "some parts were disrespectful towards our president." HELLO, are you deficient, our president is retarded, and encase you have not noticed (which clearly you havn't OH special one) You can't flip through the channels without seeing someone make a mockery of George Bush, so why are you so shocked that a Disney movie would poke fun? Oh, and also, it wasn't saying the progress we have made as mankind is pointless, it is saying that we need to take better care of our planet. You need to get an education my friend.
