I didin't saw the movie theater but I did watch the Directers cut and I loved it. If I saw the theater version I might not like it but I think this version has made it my greatest comic book movies of all time. I give it a 10 out of 10.

Maybe some floating head of ultra intelligence like gorski can make something out of the crap. But I for one ,think gorski is probably a dork. Big time. This movie sucks

I finally watched this last night. I'm so glad that I didn't pay for it (someone else did). I feel like that was 3 hours of my life I will never get back. The plot was utterly ridiculous. It took me most of the movie to figure out if half of the characters even had super powers. Worst super hero movie ever made!!!!

Terrible...The first fight scene is lame, it looks obviously choreographed (whenever the comedian ******** he movies his head in an over the top fashion and the punches look cheesy). Then you sit through a way to long credits/back story stills which is as cheesy as can be. Then a glimmer of hope with a great narration by Rorschach...only to fall on its face with the corny Owl (Adam West style) and Dr. Monotone and the Silk Sucker who all can act but were horrendous in this movie. The ending was so terrible...this fight was even worse then the first; with now-a-day special effects and camera techniques couldn't they make the fight look more believable and less choreographed (in the far shot what was going on with Ozzy's arms). After that debacle, Dr. Manhattan does something really stupid and the end spirals further down the toilet. That's what I think, now I want to address stupid comments. "The movie was too long"...how long did you think a 3 hours and 6 minute movie would be. "This movie should be rated x or nc17"...don't take your kids to a R e movie is ratedRrated movie and then say you shouldn't take you kids...That's what the R rating is telling you R=don't take kids. "Frontal nudity"...who cares about the penis, don't look at it (apply your brain read why the movie is rated R. "Too much gore"...action movies have gore (people make stupid decisions taking there kids to see a movie like this and then they have to blame someone else by saying too much gore). If anything needs to be said about the gore is that is wasn't used well, it was lame when Owl and Spectre punched bones out of arms (couldn't they at least go for a arm across a knee or a arm twist). Should have made an Incredibles 2 instead of heaping pile.

This movie is very deep, which made it a good story. It explains all the characters and their actions leading up to the big storyline. Well thought out and kudos to the writers. This movie explains the basis of humanity and kind of resembles the movie, "The Day the Earth Stood Still", but with no aliens involved. No, the blue man guy is not an alien for those who are wondering. Watch the movie from beginning to the end and you'll know all about him. It's roughly 3-hours, but like I mentioned earlier, it explains the whole detail of the movie and then some. Pretty good. Beautiful women in high heels. Who doesn't like that? I guess I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a little long for this type of movie that could've been explained in 2 hours or less.
