Watchmen is the best superhero movie I have ever seen. The movie told a full story from begining to end and really pulled me in. I especially enjoyed on the background information provided for each character

This film is a jaw-dropping experience and one of the best I've seen in at least five years, maybe more. It is so textured and requires one to pay close attention to every bit of the entire 163 minutes because there is so much to see and think about. I loved "The DarK Knight" but this is much darker and much more graphically violent and beautiful at the same time. Visually, it is total eye candy and the story is so cohesive yet complex that it goes beyond conventional moviemaking to a degree that is extraordinary. The sound and music were absolute perfection on film and I was riveted for the entire time and yet I feel as though I need to see it again (next time in IMAX) so as to absorb and digest it more thoroughly. To the serious movie-goer I cannot recommend this film more highly. It is an incredible experience that you should not deprive yourself of. I saw it yesterday---and I am going back to see it again today. A cinematic masterpiece.

We went to go see this last night and it was only the 2nd movie ever I wanted to walk out of. I love X-men & L.O.R. type movies but this was poorly written, acted, and edited! Way too long with such a short actually plot. Complete dissapointment, and we paid to see it in IMAX :o( we'll never get that time or $25 back!

Excellent film. The pacing was perfect for the brooding subject matter and the cinematography evoked the same feelings as a graphic novel -- stark, beautiful and shimmering with detail. This has all the makings of a film that could develop a cult following -- it just needs to reach that elusive tipping point in the theaters...

You know the saying that if you put a thousand monkeys in a room with a thousand typewriters, they would eventually type a Shakesperian masterpiece? The monkeys went to the opposite end of the quality spectrum and wrote this screen play.

Think for yourselves, stop letting critics who are just other people most likely with nothing in common with you influence you're decision to see a movie.

This movie was AWFUL. The acting was AWFUL. The sex scenes were over the top and the blue man walking around with a flailing, exposed penis was just overkill to me. There wasn't nearly enough action of the superhero variety in this movie. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. And PARENTS, don't even think about taking your children to see this. Read thoroughly why this movie is rated R....Really, it should have been rated X or at least MA because as far as I'm concerned, parts of it were soft porn. And I wish I could slap the producers and the director because that swaying penis served absolutely no purpose at all. It was just stupid. And so was this movie. This movie was SO BAD, I can't even give it ONE star. Save your money. And save your time.

People really need to get their priorities straight; the violence was way more intense than some fictional blue penis. An 'R' rating was appropriate. What did Ron Howard have to do with this film? He didn't direct it or produce it, and he certainly didn't act in it.

In my day this would have been an X or even XX movie, escpecially when it comes to the totally naked, blue man and sex scenes. Nothing was left to the imagination there. The visual effects with regard to the fight scenes was good, but that was about it. The story line was OK, but the movie seemed to just drag on and on. For the cost of movies these days, one would think they should get more out of a 2hr 45min film. This movie is not worth your time or money. Ron Howard should be ashamed of himself.
