The person who wrote the first review about the two leads being \"not handsome or pretty enough\" for the parts, and then concludes by saying \"evil is learned\" instead of \"innate\" is unbelievably ignorant, inept, and shallow. You're BORN evil....period..

How topical the book and movie;Just today the horrific Newton CT massacre; it's a growing epidemic in this country. The movie is as gripping and breathtaking as the book. However, I believe it would be very hard to follow the movie without having read the book: not only is it very fragmentary, jumping back and forth between the different scenarios, but it also leaves out big chunks of the book.

boring and just plain odd. Too much jumping around in time. This movie tried too hard, bad camera angles and the incidental music sucked. A total waste of time
