Loved the movie. After seeing some of the latest in the movies, i.e. (Bruno) which I walked out of the theatre, Larry David was great and the Woody Allen touch was there.

Classic Woody Allen, featuring some great writing and an impressive performance by Rachel Evan Ward. I was disappointed in the cinematography - what was shot was fine - I now the Chinatown street that the main character lives on and true to form it looks a lot better through Woody Allens' lens - but the views of New York, inside and out, were just too few. This film had a forced quality that I think was deliberate - but somehow didn't work for me. I wouldn't recommend it as a first Woody Allen film or for non WA fans - otherwise, go enjoy, it's worth it as long as your expectations are in the fair-to-middlin' range.

One word to describe the movie "Genius". If your attention spam is beyond mindless car chases, predictable fight scenes and redundant plots. It you enjoy brilliant banter, hilarious situations and wonderful acting it is a must see. Woody has done it again.

I was truly excited to see this movie. With what a read about being close to Anna Hall, it never came close. In fact the movie was a disappointment to me to be honest with you. It was too far fetched and corny to be anywhere close to a good movie.

At most, a B minus movie and definitely not of Woody's best. Larry David is fine in half hour sit-coms where the crazy events can carry much of the plot, but can't handle the acting required in a full move. It would have been much better if Woody himself had taken that role.Evan Rachel Wood was great and we really enjoyed her performance. Larry's talking directly to audience was a nice creative device. I was distracted by the washed out color. Was that deliberate? In summary better than the currently available sci fi, ******** and shoot em ups but dissapointing for Woody Allen fans ************** and long for another great one.

I totally enjoyed this film, as did the few people who were in the theatre with me, but I am a big fan of Woody Allen movies. I agree with his philosophy of life and find his insight into human nature amusing. And Woody has quite a knack for finding amazing young leading ladies.
