I went into this movie not expecting much, but I ended up LOVING IT! Juliette Lewis was awesome as the "bad girl." I enjoyed the pace of the movie and it was very entertaining. It's a good movie for young teens because except for a few cuss words, it's innocent fun. Go see it!

I've heard a lot of good reviews for this movie and would have watch it, but barely any theatres are showing it and some are already taking it out. What is going on! It's only been 2 1/2 weeks! Grrr.

Whip It marks Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut with a story of a girl’s struggle with her mother to achieve her self-identity. In the opening scenes Bliss (Ellen Page) dyes her hair purple before coming on stage in the Miss Blue Bonnet pageant. See my full review at johnhuntspace.com/

Enjoyable movie! Rollerblading scenes were amazing. Loved the soundtrack. Bliss' little sister was really cute. Great job Drew!

MoviesMoveMe writes a great review of this flick, and I agree with the insights...however, MMM, heroin is a drug, heroine is a kick-a** rollar derby queen. Just FYI

One of the best movies I have seen in a LONG time! Heartfelt, laugh out loud funny, and pure genius from Drew on directing. The movie keeps getting better and builds solid characters. The acting is real and full of imagination from each actor. Girl power and something your boyfriend or husband could love for girls kickin ass! GO WHIP IT! A+
