Descent story, but frankly fell way short of my expectations. Being a fan of the previous X-MEN movies, the characters introduced in this film were at best disappointing.

The critics said this movie was impersonal. I say it a pointless. Even comic book stories imply some moral. This movie says itâs okay to shoot Grandma and Grandpa in the head because the bad US military made me do it. Of course they need to include some Liberal political jargon about US Generals wanting preemptive war while they are killing the innocent for the enlightenment of preteen audience. I guess the actions scenes were worth the ticket price. If only they could have included some Global Warming propaganda and I would have had a reason to walk out.

If you have red my pre viewing comment below, then read my actual critique after seeing it. Iron Man, SpiderMan, The Dark Knight, and the Original Bat Man, 1988-89) IMO are the best Comic to Movie movies ever . After those I would rank are X-Men 1, SpiderMan 2, BatMan Begins, Superman 1 and 2 (With Christopher Reeves). But at the bottom I would definately put DareDevil, Elektra, The Hulk (With Eric Bana), and both Fantastic 4 movies. I know there are a lot of others out there and I may be missing a few that could be in one of my top two shelves but these are my fav and least fav for you to judge my taste in Comic to Movie movies. Unfortunately, there is a new Comic to Movie movie that will now be added to the bottom shelf of my Comic to Movie movie cabinet; Wolverine. Enough said.

Flores135 and DojosonD are correct. The miss use of the Deadpool character as well as the misrepresentation of Logans youth and memory loss are deplorable. Ive read just about everything Wolverine or X-men and could not believe the story line that was turned into supposedly the re-do of misjustices of the previous movies. But I'll still be at the theater with popcorn and milk duds

I don't care what anyone says; I am going to see this movie with an open mind realizing that movie NEVER follow art; Wolverine and his origins being the art. I am looking forward to a rougher and more violent Wolverine, opposed to his X-Men movie character. I hope they take into account his REAL mutant power and show him being born sometime in the old west. After all, supposedly, he should be older then Prof. Xavier and the Origins comic depicted him as being born in the late 19th to early 20th century.

I saw the premier of the movie at the Tempe Market Place, and besides the movie being inaccurate it was entertaining. I was excited to see Gambit and Deadpool, but unfortunately there's not a whole lot of them. Maybe 10 minutes of Gambit and 15 of Deadpool. I know it's a movie about Wolverine, but it would have been great to see a bit more of those two charaters.

Movie was BAD, nothing to look forward to....Save your money and dl the torrent. Really, dont waste ur time or money to see this. first half is decent(follows wolverines story line) Second half is terrible and cheesy.
