Plot Summary
Astra Taylor's thought-provoking documentary follows the Slovenian thinker and author Slavoj Zizek as he lectures around the world. During candid conversations with Taylor, Zizek relays his complex ideas on the mind and culture, utilizing a mix of Marxism and psychoanalytic critical theory in the tradition of Jacques Lacan. During his discussions, Zizek, a very popular academic, combines philosophy and psychology while covering everything from capitalism to popular culture.
