Overall the movie was well done, but at 2 hrs it is boring. Maybe it would have been better suited as a made for TV movie? Covering more of the details and differences among the crime areas.Also the actor choices were off -- most were a little too young to play their roles and they were not aged well (except Downey) over the time period of the film.And the movie poster misses its mark.

I enjoyed the movie but it was way too long and the only times i wasn't checking my watch every 5 minutes was 30 minutes into the movie and 45 minutes before the movie ended.

This movie was so incredibly boring that it made me leave half way through. I was actuallly excited to go home and do bills it was that bad!!!! hahaha oh well!

ZZZZZZZZZZZZ....that was literally what happened when we went to see Zodiac. About minute 75 or so my friend fell asleep and stayed asleep for about 35 minutes after waking up she turned to me and said "did I miss anything?" and in all seriousness I had to respond "no, not really anything at all." The plot is so slow moving and the script is flat. Overall I think if your going to watch this movie watch it on dvd so you can fast forward the majority of the movie and get the gist in about 1 1/2 hrs. This movie left our entire audiance shifting in thier seats, sleeping or walking out. I didn't hear one good comment from any of the patrons after the movie. I remeber thinking when we stood up that i would have probably enjoyed Wild Hogs instead, which i never would have expected to say. Truley terrible waste of time. Please don't even bother.

I love Jake G, and was excited to see he would be in this film about a killer still on the loose. And I was disappointed. The movie dragged on for almost 3 hours! I would wait and watch this on video. For a movie about a killer I wasnt thrilled at all.

This movie was annoying, they had all the evidence against the damn guy and he was offering them information that they didn't even know about and they still didn't convict him. Then they got it all together at the end and still didn't convict him. I swear where they that stupid in the 70's....so glad I didn't pay for this

I thought this movie was pretty good. It's not a slasher movie where someone is getting a body part cut off every 5 minutes so if that is what you find entertaining, don't go. Yes, it is long (160 min). It does have a somewhat complicated plot so if you don't want to think much, don't go. Overall, I enjoyed it. I knew it was an "unsolved" case so the ending didn't surprise me. Solving crimes in the 60's and 70's before computers and DNA was quite different than it is now.

To those who say Zodiac is too long, too boring, etc. I say please go back to watching the real life on mtv. Or haloween/freddy/nightmare/jason part 59 or something. Zodiac is the kind of film that anyone who has a remote interest in good filmmaking will thorougly enjoy. It is an American classic and deserves to be seen by everyone. The film has it's moments of fright but mainly this is a police drama that unfolds in a brilliant way and keeps the audience interested. The script is brilliantly written. The three hour long film never loses focus on it's main story line. Usually films of this lenght ponder on other matters that the characters are going through but not this film. The incredible writing, acting and Fincher's direction keeps the entire film on the edge. This is a good film by all standards. I hope it becomes a giant hit. Go see it now!!!

Watching this film was a tragedy. I want back the THREE HOURS of my life that was lost. The film drags on in an endless, mind numbing, unmerciful, sadistic way. I have seen bad movies before...this film takes it to an entirely new level. If you are a fan of the actors feel free to watch it, however if you are looking for a good movie watch Pan's Labyrinth. AVOID THIS MOVIE!
