Hepker, her mother Jessie and friend Janay Miller, stopped at the Jackson home as the three were driving home from the Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN, where Hepker just completed two days of chemotherapy. Mayo was one of the only hospitals in the country that would continue to give the treatments to Hepker. Other hospitals said her cancer was too far advanced to treat. Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after going into cardiac arrest at his rented home on June 25 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 50. Jackson is survived by his three children, Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II.
