First, let me address the fact that Gerard Butler's performance in this movie was one to praise. The difference in the character's he's played (from the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera to his character in 300) is immense. This movie was worth seeing for him alone. I can guarantee there are at LEAST 4 scenes in the movie that will make you pee in your pants from laughing so hard. It's a crude love story, for sure... but that's the ugly truth. If you weren't prepared to see a movie like this, how can you be prepared to walk out your front door into the real world? Maybe a movie better suited for you would be G-Force. I'm sure you'd get your money's worth out of that one. Katie was semi-brilliant in this movie as well. I'd say her and Gerard were the perfect choices for the lead roles in this movie. I, being a twice produced feature screenwriter, give this movie a 5/5 rating.

Abolutely HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE movie! Bad acting, bad cinematography, nothing flowed, crude, stupid, the main guy looked like an alocholic. Horrible movie. If you want to see a romantic comedy, go see "The Proposal". Much classier and flowed. I cannot begin to tell you how rotten this movie is, and I'm not picky. I was really looking forward to seeing it. I can't believe anyone could like this movie in any way. I'm shocked.

We arrived for the 10pm showing of this movie and there wasn't an empty seat in the house when the movie started. This was for a very, very large auditorium. I was pretty amused when in reading all of the so-called 'reviews' by professional film critics that no one cared for it and for the most part personally attacked Katie Heigl. As a twice produced feature screenwriter myself, I thought this film took a lot of chances and they paid off. This was certainly a film that earned its rating. It freshened some cliche situations and made them their own. It was laugh-out-load funny and certainly doesn't deserve the rap that the critics have given it. I think it will make a ton of money and especially in this economy, people need a good laugh. This movie totally delivers and is worth the price of the ticket.

I thought it was entertaining & funny. why else go to the movies ? I read the Roger Moore review and he blasted the movie, he does not know whats funny and entertaining....he should get a real job.

This movie was really funny. The theater was packed and when it ended there was lots of applause and people dancing in their seats to the credits and talking excitedly. Screw the critics. Heigl can do WHATEVER SHE WANTS! She's box office gold. Oh by the way I live in Hollywood and people are usually really jaded, but they LOVED it.

I was really looking forward to this movie…until I saw the trailer of the restaurant scene.

The idea is funny, but using a young boy to be in control is offensive and pornographic. The laughs would have been plenty if the person holding the control was an adult. Shame on the stars for agreeing to this. They are a couple of my favorites! Parents should be cautious about taking teens to this, unless they are ready to do a lot of explaining on what the boy in the restaurant is doing to Heigl’s character. Where was the MPAA and its subgroup CARA? Apparently asleep.\ This is one movie I won't see.

Very funny movie. Not for kids, but a really funny adult movie. The story may have been formula, but the laughs are fresh and histarical
