Charlie's Angels

Series Summary
A new take on the classic 1970s series of the same name brings three fresh beauties together to solve cases for elusive millionaire Charlie Townsend. Park Ave. princess-turned-thief Abby (Rachael Taylor), disgraced Miami cop Kate (Annie Ilonzeh) and mysterious street racer Eve (Minka Kelly) form close friendships as they get a second chance at life as detectives in sunny Miami. Although they're strangers when they come together, one thing is certain: they will always have one another's backs. Drew Barrymore, who co-starred in the "Charlie's Angels" feature films, is an executive producer of the series.

  • From shows like "Alias" to "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" to "Nikita," it has become commonplace to see hot chicks action stars. So a "Charlie's Angels" reboot has to offer something else in order to work. And it doesn't. show more

  • Charlie's Angels is proof that angels exist in hell, because that's where it felt like I was during most of this hourlong drivel. show more

  • Done without any of the smart silliness that made Drew Barrymore's 2000 movie reboot so much fun, the show is just vixen nostalgia. [17 Oct 2011, p.42] show more
