Jennifer Falls

Series Summary
Jennifer Doyle had it all. The high-powered executive seemed to be at the top of the world, then she began her descent of the corporate -- and personal -- ladder, eventually hitting bottom. Now she and teenage daughter Gretchen must move in with her mother. Jennifer takes a job at a bar owned by her meek brother and his passive/aggressive wife. There she encounters her former best friend, Dina, who holds a grudge against Jennifer. Nothing is going well in her life. But at the bottom, there's only one direction to go!

  • It's a fine cast, and one wishes they had something a little more focused to do, something a little less predictable, something that wove the isolated good moments into a consistent whole. show more

  • TV Land proves again that no one in basic cable does a more proficient, professional job of executing and packaging traditional sitcoms. What’s not so admirable: the creator and writer Matthew Carlson’s pilot script. show more

  • The show's great cast gives it a lot of potential, and they work hard in the pilot to make their thin material viable. show more
