Sundance Channel has acquired the rights to the landmark National Anthem project being directed by legendary documentarians D A Pennebaker and Albert Maysles. The film will be the first time the two legendary filmmakers have worked together sine 1960's Primary and 1968's Monterey Pop. The film is an inside look at the "Vote For Change" concert tour, including behind-the-scenes footage and live performances from the final show on the tour in Washington D.C. on October 11th. The special will air on the Sundance Channel on October 11th from 6:30pm to 11:30pm.

Pennebaker and Maysles have directed or co-directed some of the most influential documentaries of all time, including Grey Gardens and Gimme Shelter (Maysles) and, Don't Look Back and The War Room (Pennebaker).
