gallolennon.jpgIn "We'll Have To See It To Truly Comprehend It" news, indie film provocateur/nuisance Vincent Gallo will join Sean Lennon, heir to rock-and-art royalty, on stage February 24 for a benefit concert to help save Lower East Side club Tonic. The unlikely duo actually did a series of shows together last year to celebrate the release of Gallo's The Brown Bunny, and are now returning to Tonic for a good cause. The club is facing eviction after a huge rent hike and a recent string of bad luck, and other local celebrities are also rushing to their aid: Smokey Hormel (guitarist for Beck) will join Cibo Matto's Miho Hatori for a set of Brazilian-inspired tunes tomorrow night, and Lennon will duet with his mother, Yoko Ono, on February 19.
