Jamie Foxx snatched two more late-season awards this weekend, as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) declared him the year's best actor, twice over. Foxx won the Image Award for Best Actor in a TV Movie for FX's Redemption, and the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture went to his performance in Ray. Ray was also named the year's Best Motion Picture; Lead and Supporting Actress awards went to that film's Kerry Washington and Regina King, respectively. Morgan Freeman's work in Million Dollar Baby earned the veteran actor the Image for Best Supporting actor, and the prize for Best Foreign or Independent Film went to Woman, Thou Art Loosed.
