nicolekidman_narrowweb__200x298.jpgAt the Austrailian premiere of The Interpreter, Nicole Kidman said that whilst she had no "regrets" over the recent collapse of Eucalyptus, she would still "love to get it made." "It was something I was very, very excited to do," she said. Eucalyptus was axed in mid-February, after producers at Fox Searchlight were forced to admit that "the screenplay [was] not where we need it to be." It would have offered Kidman a rare chance to work in her native Austrailia, with an Austrailian crew and the Austrailian Russell Crowe, on a project stemming from an Austrailian novel. [via MCN]
