T040612A.jpgFenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's World of Wonder, the production package behind Inside Deep Throat and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, have optioned Victor M. Guitierrez's Michael Jackson Was My Secret Lover: The Secret Diary of Jordie Chandler. The book is an extensively researched account of the 1993 sexual abuse case brought against Jackson, with in-depth insight into the family of his first known accuser.

No word yet on what WOW's exact plans for the material are; though traditionally non-fiction filmmakers, Bailey and Barbato branched out into the world of the stylized biopic with 2003's Party Monster, an adaptation of their own documentary about club kid killer Michael Alig. According to Michael Musto's column in the Village Voice, the book is long out of print and "sells for a fortune on Ebay"; according to the WOW blog, the Spanish-language version of the book contains an entire chapter - not in the English version - about Jackson's alleged inappropriate dalliance with singer Ricky Martin. The English version includes stories about "incidents" involving both Macaulay Culkin and celebrity choreographer Wade Robson.
