Anthony AndersonAnthony Anderson (My Baby’s Daddy) is the subject of casting rumours swirling around a new biopic on the Notorious B.I.G. Rapper P. Diddy (formerly Puff Daddy) and director Antoine Fuqua (King Arthur) have joined with Voletta Wallace (Christopher 'Biggie' Wallace's mother) to make a movie on the late rap star's life.

Waverly W. Alford and Guerilla Black are two other names being tossed about for the role, reports moviehole. Anderson says he hasn't heard from the filmmakers yet, but seems excited at the possibility of giving life to the cinematic Biggie.

Anderson says he wants to prove he's more than a comic/actor.  He is already on his way, having been cast in Martin Scorsese’s The Departed with Jack Nicholson, Leonardo Di Caprio, and Matt Damon.

"I just want to show you another side - Robin Williams did it, Tom Hanks did it, Jamie Foxx did it" says Anderson.
