main.jpgMGM's remake of The Pink Panther, starring Steve Martin, Kevin Kline and Beyonce, has been put back on the studio's summer schedule. Originally slated to premiere in July, execs moved the picture to late September; but as they begin their absorption into Sony today, MGM seems to have had a change of heart. "We looked at the picture again, and it tested very well," said MGM distribution president Erik Lomis. Panther will now premiere on August 5, opposite The Dukes of Hazzard and video-game takeoff Doom.
