Director Alex Gibney and writers Peter Elkind and Bethany McLean will be on hand tomorrow evening for a special screening of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room in Houston. The film will screen at 7:30 pm, and afterwards there will be a town-hall style question-and-answer session with the aforementioned trio, moderated by the Houston Chronicle's Mary Flood. The screening is open to the public, but if you can prove you were once an Enron employee (via a pay stub, employee ID, etc), you can get in for half price. It should be a pretty interesting discussion - not only is the film fairly incendiary, but this screening comes one day after the Enron Broadband exec trial resumes. If anybody in Houston goes and wants to report back for Cinematical, please let us know!
