Director Rebecca Dreyfus was on hand for a question and answer session after the film. She revealed that she fell in love with the museum before the theft and after a visit came up with the idea for the film. Filming was off and on for a three year period. And this is the first screening.

”When we started trying making the film we didn't know Harold. But the finished film had a lot to do about him.”

She first called Harold up for an interview about the theft. After the interview she began getting calls from him as it reopened his interest in the case.

She did admit that his looks (due to his skin cancer) were originally a concern. She used the interview footage to gauge people’s opinion and the consensus was you could forget about his looks in 2 minutes.
