According to Movie City News, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are planning a balls-out protest tonight at the premiere of Jennifer Lopez' new movie, Monster-in-Law, in Los Angeles. Not only will those crazy PETA kids arm themselves with "giant posters" labelling J. Lo as "Monster-in-Fur", but they also intend to pass out DVDs to the premiere attendees, featuring images of Lopez wearing fur intercut with graphic footage of animals being skinned alive and generally tortured in the name of the fur procural. According to PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk, Lopez has it coming: “To animals killed for their fur, Jennifer Lopez is the ‘monster." If you want in on the J. Lo bashing - or if you just want to pick up one of those awesome-sounding DVDs - the premiere/radical performance art extravaganza goes down at 6:30 tonight, at the National Theater in Westwood.
