Parallel Lines director Nina Davenport returned to her hometown for a question and answer session after the film screening.

She says she used just half to two thirds of the people she filmed in the final cut of the documentary, which she thinks is a high ratio. She would stick with a person until she found a scene with them. None of the people shown in the film have seen it or been contacted yet, with exception of a photographer and her bellman.

"I think it’s really important to laugh at oneself and I don't see it as people laughing in a negative way."
