- TV Guide notes a few films on television tonight, among which are Hidalgo, with swaggering man's man Viggo Mortensen; Steven Spielberg's made-for-TV suspense film Duel; everybody's favorite Soderbergh film, sex, lies, and videotape; and Clint Eastwood's Mystic River.
- Tuesday is chickflick day with Flashdance on WE (that's Women's Entertainment, boys) and Romy and Michele's High School Reunion on the Family channel. Brilliant! If you're feeling scary and/or depressed, Thirteen Ghosts shows up on SciFi, and The Shawshank Redemption is on Showtime. And for the sake of your soul, please, please stay away from Welcome to Mooseport on HBO. Ray Romano is my mortal enemy.
- Wednesday has a scarcity of films. What is on looks to be polarizing. Erudite persons shall pontificate on Citizen Kane on TCM, while, like, stoners and stuff will totally light up to Dude, Where's My Car on FX. If you do watch Dude, remember to raise a glass of champagne to Ashton and Demi's loving relationship, and wonder why Bruce Willis hasn't punched one of them yet.
- Thursday and Friday? What do you think I am, a fortune teller? Go read a book.
