Marcello MastroianniDave Kehr of The New York Times gives us the low-down on the release of a few classic films to DVD.

Criterion Collection has released a double-disc set of PietroGermi's 1962 Divorce, Italian Style, starring MarcelloMastroianni (La Dolce Vita) as a Baron Cefalú, a man plotting the murder of his wife (DanielaRocca) in pre-divorce Italy. The Baron's 16-year old cousin, played by StefaniaSandrelli, is his new love interest. As Kehr points out, this film includes "one of the most virtuosic scenes of [Mastroianni'] career."

Next on the new release wall is Danish director CarlDreyer's third film, Leaves from Satan's Book, from Image Entertainment.
