shethinkingcov.jpgZoe Heller's What Was She Thinking?, a novel about an art teacher who is arrested after sleeping with a 15-year-old student, is coming to the big screen. The adaptation, which will take the original novel's subtitle, Notes From a Scandal, will star Cate Blanchett as the teacher, and Judi Dench as a friend who witnesses the fall from grace. This is like the 800th project Blanchett has signed on to since winning an Oscar for her burlesque of performance as Katherine Hepburn in The Aviator; she's also set to appear in Babel, opposite Brad Pitt and Gael Garcia Bernal, and she'll star in Steven Soderbergh's The Good German.
