Outkast's Andre 3000 has signed a deal with Nickelodeon Films, to produce "edgy" films for kids. "I've noticed that kids, they're looking up to the Jay-Zs, they're looking up to OutKasts," Andre told the AP. "So kids' movies and cartoons, they're getting smarter ... because it seems like kids are cooler." As a partial answer to that situation, Andre will co-produce and star in The Hit, about a fifth grader searching for a new wife for his dad. It doesn't get any edgier than that.
